If your emotional abilities aren’t in hand, if you don’t have self-awareness, if you are not able to manage your distressing emotions, if you can’t have empathy and have effective relationships, then no matter how smart you are, you are not going to get very far.”
— Daniel Goleman
We often hear your actions speak louder than your words. In how you act, how you respond to your emotions and how you respond to others has an impact on your performance and engagement in the workplace.
What is emotional intelligence (EQ)?
Emotional intelligence (EQ) is about understanding your own self. It starts with you and how you handle challenging situations. Stress in the workplace may lead to low morale, decreased performance, and ultimately may lead to conflict. Conflict coaching and emotional intelligence often go hand-in-hand and understanding your self-awareness is the beginning.
Our coaching and workshops focus on the five core competencies of emotional intelligence: self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy and interpersonal skills. At the core, we want you to understand what EQ means to you. Our sessions offer an opportunity for individuals, teams, and organizations to:
- Understand EQ & why it matters in the workplace
- Recognize the benefits of EQ
- Expand your knowledge of emotional patterns in yourself and others
- Understand how you use emotion to facilitate thought and behavior
- Discover how you can manage your emotions
- Build more effective relationships with people at work
- Increase your leadership effectiveness
We offer two-hour, half-day, full-day and multi-day interactive emotional intelligence workshops as well as one-on-one coaching.
